Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactThis is a wonderful piece. I agree with the other critique and would like to add to it by suggesting that the use of paper represents the fragility of the buildings. We tend to think once pages have been printed that they exist forever. Yet paper is so fragile.
The stories on paper seems to translate to the literal "stories" of the tower as well as of course the many stories of the individuals no longer with us.
Set upon an open book. 9/11 is also a chapter in human history which sadly, due to subsequent ongoing terrorism and war, is yet to close.
This is why this piece works.
